Good communication skills, and fluency in English At least 3 years experience in web development Firm understanding and experience with modern Javascript, CSS and HTML Working knowledge of basic git commands/operations Decent understanding of HTTP Understanding of elementary design principles You will be helping develop web applications and sites across several connected projects within XTERRA. This is largely for front-end development and will incorporate elements of design work as well, and depending on the project and yourself, possibly incorporate some server-side work. The development work will mostly be helping plan, develop and document front-ends built with Javascript (primarily Vue/Nuxt/Tailwind although the specific technologies may differ between projects). The design aspect will generally be helping fit the necessary information/UI to match existing XTERRA brand style guidelines and aesthetics. In other words, we are not asking for a complete design system overhaul, but you will be tasked with coming up with and implementing designs that fit in with our current design guidelines. Someone will be a good fit for this job if they work well with others, are happy to learn new skills when the opportunity arises, as well as share skills that can help the team whatever problem is being worked on.
