Job Summary:

You are responsible for contributing to the development of AI/ML solutions that will drive the innovation of our product offering. This entails understanding and AI model building, implementing and measuring the effectiveness of various AI/ML models in addressing various opportunities in the medical field.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be the subject matter expert in the data available on the medical domain.
• Work with product owners and engineering to ensure an efficient implementation of AI products.
• Work with data engineer/ML engineer to ensure identified data is made available for analysis, articulate needs of data scientist in the early stage of project.
• Contribute to the implementation of machine learning algorithms to drive proof-of-concepts, projects powered with AI in various stages. 
• Work with the engineering team to design, execute, and monitor product experiments.
• Define, track and discuss features needed on each use case to be captured in the data pipeline.
• Contribute to dashboards to track relevant metrics.
• Document and communicate findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

Job Requirement

• Relevant degree in Mathematics and Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering
• At least 3 - 5 years of working experience relevant to the field of data science
• At least 2 - 3 production AI project experience with significant tasks and responsibilities.
• Real-hand experiences in deep learning frameworks such Tensorflow, Keras or PyTorch.
• Practitioner of data-driven decision making, ability to break down complex AI use cases to priorities and weigh tradeoffs between different approaches.
• Discover AI papers for the use case, perform preliminary analysis and implementation when deemed fit.
• Proven knowledge in Python and data science toolkits.
• Ability and practice in doing statistical analysis on large, unstructured data sets
• Solid understanding in machine learning algorithms such linear/logistic regression, decision tree/random forest, SVM, KNN, k-means, etc.
• Proficient in data visualization and data storytelling.
• Good communication and documentation skills both in English and Mandarin.
• Experience with any dashboard development or implementation.

Good to Have

• Relevant working experiences in the medical field.
• Real hand experiences on cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding on machine learning pipelines and how cross functional teams leverage AI Models.
• Familiarity with SQL, non-relational database.
• Experiences in data and model versioning, model tracking.
