We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team, focusing on the development and maintenance of backend systems for leveraged contracts in financial derivatives. The successful candidate will have a robust background in backend development, experience with financial derivatives and leveraged trading, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Design and Development
- Design and develop backend systems for leveraged contracts and other financial derivative products.
- Implement and manage APIs and services critical for trading and contract execution.
- Ensure high reliability and performance of backend systems to support real-time trading operations.
2. Financial Derivatives and Leveraged Trading Integration
- Develop and maintain systems that handle the complexities of leveraged contracts, including margin calculations, risk management, and automated trading strategies.
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to implement and optimize trading algorithms.
3. Performance Optimization
- Analyze system performance and implement enhancements to meet high-frequency trading requirements.
- Address and resolve issues related to performance, scalability, and reliability.
4. Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure system requirements are met and integrated seamlessly.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear communication with team members regarding project progress and technical challenges.
5. Maintenance and Support
- Monitor system operations and perform routine maintenance to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Support troubleshooting and resolving issues related to leveraged contracts and trading functionalities.
1. Work Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on financial derivatives, leveraged trading, or similar domains.
2. Technical Skills
- Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Python, Java, C++, Go, Node.js, etc.
- Experience with financial derivatives and leveraged trading systems.
- Familiarity with database technologies, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of API design and RESTful services.
3. Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial applications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure trading environment.
4. Other Requirements
- Understanding of financial markets, derivative products, and leveraged trading strategies.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and apply them to practical solutions.
