We are seeking a talented Sr. Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team at ABConvert to take our product to the next level.

About the job

In this role, you will to in charge of building a scalable analytic platform by improving our current system and leading a team to foster good engineer culture in our company.

What you will do

1. Build an accurate analytics platform that can help merchant analyze A/B testing result
2. Build a monitoring system that monitor anomaly in data collection, API response, and system health
3. Build an excellent engineering team that ship perfect products fast

What we are looking for

1. You must be a person who pursues excellence
2. You must be a person who writes good documentation
3. You are passionate about startups
4. You have experience in building large data(analytics) platform
5. (Bonus) You love sports

Requirements

1. 5+ years of industry experience as a Backend or Data engineer
2. Familiar with our tech stack: Node.js, React, JavaScript / TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic search
3. Proficient in written english
4. (Bonus) Experience of leading an engineering team

Interview process

Our interview process consists of three stages:

1. General Interview: A quick chat to build a mutual understanding between you and our company. In this stage, we aim to learn more about you and also share more about what we're working on.
2. Take-Home Exam: We'll provide you with a simplified problem set that reflects the real challenges you would face with us.
3. Coding Assessment + System Design Case Study: This final stage involves evaluating your coding skills and your approach to system design through a practical case study.
4. Team Fit Assessment: In this stage, we focus on understanding how well you align with our company culture and values. This involves discussions with various team members to assess your collaboration style, communication skills, and overall fit within the team dynamics. It's as much an opportunity for you to get to know us as it is for us to get to know you.

Package and benefits

Salary: 1.5M-2M NTD(Commensurate with experience and abilities.)
