Software Engineer
薪資範圍:60,000 ~ 150,000 TWD / month
- Developing web pages based on wireframes and visual designs, through implementing commercial and open-source web technologies
- Developing dynamic and engaging web functionality using JavaScript and scripting languages
- Verifying the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and product requirements
- Testing functions on multiple browsers and mobile devices
- Rapidly prototyping ideas in order to learn what works and how to elevate concepts to the next level
- Build incredibly simple and elegant website/app user experience and user interface from conception until launch.
- Leverage technology to improve website conversion rate from non-subscriber and app utilization rate from subscribers.
- Bring strategic acumen for building timeless brands through tech architecture and solutions.
- Work with Product Managers to take broad, conceptual ideas or complex actions and turn them into useful, valuable and creative features and experiences. Balance of understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how this innovation will scale
- Demonstrating effective communication with fellow team members and management
- Collaborate with product managers, brand designers, marketers, stylists, copywriter/content strategist and category manager/buyer and engineers who may be located internationally with different time zones to serve a U.S. nationwide audience
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with Java, PHP, Python, C++
- Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS & JavaScript and jQuery production (React bonus)
- Experience testing and debugging work on multiple browsers and platforms
- Proactive self-starter, strategic thinker, ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment; ability to meet deadlines and strive for efficiency
- Working knowledge of design principles, user interfaces, user experience
- Familiarity with interaction design
- Have a relevant portfolio featuring work that indicates you worked with product managers and designers to ship the website/app live in production and received positive user feedback
- Ability to build rigorous systems, while also being a conceptual and creative thinker who can bring your ideas to life in new and inspiring ways
- A strategic thinker with the understanding of product and marketing goals who can identify business opportunities and make decisions based on the impact to customers and the company
- Expert in time management and taking self-initiative in a fast-paced and remote working environment where quick and multiple iteration happens
- Thrive within the startup environment and be willing to take on multiple roles outside of your core scope
- Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing animations, navigation, interactivity, etc., using jQuery or other JavaScript libraries
- Experience using Shopify Liquid Code
- Responsive design experience (Bootstrap3)
- Knowledge of website analytics
- Knowledge of using APIs of social media and other sources
- Insights and strategies of front-end optimization
- Experience using React Native
- Experience developing RWD web pages
- Experience using module bundlers
- Full-stack development ability
- Experience joining Github projects or other open-source projects development
- Experience across the full palette of software: website and app, internal and consumer-facing software, online and offline user experience, leveraging new technologies such as ChatGPT and AI
