What You Will Deliver
Project Leadership
- Execution of R&D Projects: Lead a team of software engineers to successfully execute software research and development projects within the transportation and logistics domain.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical direction and oversight, ensuring the team adheres to best practices in software development, including architecture, coding standards, and testing.
- Innovation: Drive innovation by incorporating the latest technological advancements and industry trends into project solutions.
Stakeholder Management
- Effective Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the project team and internal/external stakeholders. Clearly communicate project progress, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
- Requirement Management: Gather, clarify, and document project requirements from stakeholders, ensuring alignment and mutual understanding.
- Progress Reporting: Regularly update stakeholders on project status through detailed reports and presentations.
Project Delivery
- On-Time and On-Spec: Ensure that projects are delivered according to specifications and on schedule. This involves meticulous planning, continuous monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.
- Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality deliverables that meet stakeholder expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity and success.
Who You Are
- University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
- Experience leading the execution of software development projects with a sizable team
- Experience in project management, managing project schedule and budget control
- Domain knowledge in transportation, traffic engineering or logistics is an advantage
- Experience in handling research and development projects is an advantage
