Cloud Engineering Manager
We seek an exceptional Cloud Engineering Manager with outstanding leadership and technical expertise. You will lead an R&D team of 4~5 engineers to develop and maintain high-quality and innovative KYC and anti-scam SaaS products/projects — Identity Suite. Identity Suite: https://gogolook.com/en/identity-suite This role requires outstanding technical leadership and excellent communication skills to coach the team with backend and data pipeline ETL-related development tasks. We aim to collectively deliver business services that meet compliance and uphold a high Service Level Agreement (SLA). Responsibilities: 1. Leadership and Management: Guide, coach, and motivate team members, ensuring continuous technical and professional growth. Engage in daily team activities, optimizing process efficiency and achieving schedule and quality standards. Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and communicate effectively across departments and in a remote work environment. 2. Technical Planning: Collaborate with the engineering team and product project managers to create technical plans for cloud-related functionalities, ensuring scalability, stability, and efficiency of solutions. 3. Solution Design: Participate in architecting and designing cloud-related functionalities to ensure compliance and best practices. 4. Remote Team Management: In a remote work environment, communicate effectively with team members to ensure accurate transmission of information and instructions and maintain cooperation and cohesion within the remote team. 5. Technical Orientation: Stay updated with the latest cloud technology trends and best practices and apply this knowledge in project development. 6. Emergency Issue Management: Lead the team in managing faults and emergencies in the production environment, ensuring timely problem resolution and high system availability. 7. Cross Teams Collaboration: Actively cooperate with the product team, business development team, QA team, data analysis team, and other related departments, ensuring effective cross-departmental communication and collaboration. Requirements: 1. Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field. 2. Professional Experience: At least 8 years of experience in cloud-related software development and architecture, with at least 2 years of team management experience. Passionate about enterprise product and technology development and continuously following the latest industry trends. 3. Technical Skills: Familiarity with AWS cloud platform and services and backend programming languages such as Golang and Python. Experience with serverless, micro-service architecture and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. 4. Leadership: Excellent leadership ability, inspiring and guiding teams and promoting collaboration and team cohesion. 5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and coordination skills can adapt to a remote working environment. 6. Problem-Solving Ability: Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, able to respond quickly and find solutions to reduce business risk. 7.
