We have a unified Materials Manufacturing organization which will transform our material capabilities, teams, and processes and accelerate our vision to serve every athlete*. As a Lead Material Developer on the Materials Manufacturing team, you will be a technical expert at yarn and textile development, creating material solutions by driving the end-to-end process from development to commercialization. You lead the offense by collaborating with internal partners and managing strong partnerships with external partners to execute developments on-time and consistent with Nike expectations on cost, quality, and speed. You understand the dynamics of supply chain, ensuring yarn/textile developments meet resiliency, responsiveness, and sustainability targets. Detail-oriented and results-driven, you thrive in a cross-functional environment. You are analytical and opportunistic to discover areas to optimize yarn usage, expand and source where we need it, and apply those yarns toward textile applications that support key business goals. You will represent Nike Materials Manufacturing and are comfortable engaging with different external manufacturing vendors and internal teams, tailoring your messages accordingly and building strong partnerships. This role is perfect for a team-player with drive, curiosity, and exceptional communication skills. 【工作內容】 • You will lead the management of yarn/textile development by creating clear development goals, triggering material development needs, and troubleshooting issues preventing commercialization targets (cost, quality, aesthetic, scalability, and end use). You will engage directly with vendors, ensuring they deliver their developments on time and mitigating risks as needed. As a materials expert, you will create processes, analyze data, manage operations, and deliver materials that meet Nike’s aesthetic and performance (testing) requirements. • Your typical day/week will include building business process operations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on yarn/textile development, and managing various development and project priorities. You’ll create space within the Nike Materials ecosystem to deliver new material solutions and troubleshoot issues that may hinder success. You will maintain healthy relationships with vendors and inspire the team. 【WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH】 This role reports into the Material Development Director and will interact closely with key functional partners in Material and Product Supply Chain, Product Creation, and Product Integrity.
