- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). - At least 3 years' experience in Android native application development (Kotlin as primary). - Strong understanding of software design patterns, object-oriented programming principles, and code optimization techniques. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. - Ability to take initiative and drive projects independently. The team is focusing on consumerfacing UI/UX for each Rakuten marketplace's Android and iOS applications by interacting with all stakeholders, including Product Owner, UI/UX designers, and QA. You will work on Rakuten core e-commerce service and collaborate with the international team in Japan. 【Responsibilities】 As a Senior Android Engineer, you will: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, frontend and backend engineers, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance • Collaborate with the team through code reviews and regular knowledge sharing sessions. • Remain up-to-date on the latest Android technologies, frameworks, and design patterns. • Continuously look for ways to improve development processes and methodologies. • Optimize application performance, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience. • Develop leadership by participating in leading software architecture design, establishing coding standards, and adopting best practices for Android development within the project team.公司地址:
