Overall Job Purpose 💼
Hands-On Management:
● Take charge of infrastructure operations, including networks and servers, with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
● Lead the design and operational improvements for both technical systems and processes.
Project Leadership:
● Develop project proposals, oversee implementation, and manage budgets for global infrastructure and cybersecurity initiatives.
● Collaborate effectively with international teams and vendors to ensure project success.
Cybersecurity Enhancement:
● Identify system vulnerabilities, implement effective security measures, and continuously monitor systems to safeguard against threats.
Operational Excellence:
● Ensure reliable system performance and service delivery.
● Optimize infrastructure to support scalability, efficiency, and organizational goals.
Team Collaboration:
● Work closely with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance, and promote a culture of innovation and accountability.
Key Responsibilities 🎯
Infrastructure Management:
● Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory (AD) servers, VMware VCenter, and Windows Servers to maintain optimal performance and security.
● Oversee and configure network devices, including firewalls (Fortigate and Palo Alto), routers, switches, WiFi APs, NAS, SAN storage, and other systems in the data center.
● Regularly update firmware and software for security and reliability.
Network and Cybersecurity Management:
● Support installation and management of Wide Area Network (WAN) connections to ensure secure and reliable communication between offices.
● Manage cybersecurity systems, including Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), firewall policies, anti-virus, malware protection, EDR/MDR, and SOC services.
● Review and update security protocols to protect against evolving threats.
Cloud and Branch Office Support:
● Provide AWS network operation support, including monitoring cloud services and integrating them with on-premises infrastructure.
● Offer remote and on-site IT support for branch offices to resolve technical issues promptly and minimize downtime.
Project Participation:
● Contribute to IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementing new technologies.
● Collaborate with teams to ensure successful and timely project delivery.
<Education>
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
<Knowledge and Work Experience>
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT systems administration, Network management, and Cybersecurity.
- Including minimum of 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure/Cybersecurity project planning, implementation and rollout. Global project implementation and rollout will be a great plus.
- Including minimum of 3+ years of experience in Infrastructure/Cybersecurity project budget planning, budget management, solution survey and vendor management. Experience in developing project WBS will be a great plus.
- Experience in people management will be a great plus.
<Key Behavioral and Competencies>
- Proficient in English, with the ability to discuss project implementation and technical specifications with international colleagues.
- Proficiency in managing network devices including firewalls, routers, switches, and storage systems.
- Strong knowledge of AD Server, VMware VCenter, and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with WAN network management and remote support.
- Expertise in security management including IPS, firewall policy management, and anti-virus/malware protection.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
<Certifications>
MUST-HAVE Certifications:
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) is required.
Certifications for great plus
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is a plus.
- AWS certification is a great plus.
