Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage IT projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate should be passionate about the topic of living sustainably and a team player. You have a strong background in IT project management, excellent organizational skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional project teams, including developers, analysts, designers, and stakeholders. Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. Provide regular updates on project progress and address any concerns.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues early in the project lifecycle. Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address them.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets. Track expenditures and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to best practices. Conduct regular reviews and testing.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
- Problem Solving: Address project challenges and obstacles promptly. Implement solutions and make adjustments as needed to keep the project on track.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or similar project management certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of managing successful projects. Experience in mobile-app development is a must.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT systems, software development processes, and technical requirements. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information in an understandable manner. This job requires liaising with clients in Taiwan and China, thus proficiency in Mandarin is required. Interview process includes with Chinese-speaking Taiwan leadership
- Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide project teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to challenges.
- Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
