As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented API/Data Product Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Director of Product Management and AI Applications.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented API/Data Product Manager to oversee the development, integration, and performance of our APIs and data products. This role bridges technical capabilities with business needs, ensuring the seamless delivery of APIs, data solutions, and insights that empower our CreatorDB SaaS platform and customers. You will need to work closely with our US office to understand customer and business needs, and represent CreatorDB’s API capabilities internally and externally. This role will also require you to be able to work closely with internal teams to identify any potential issues with our data and coordinate efforts to address them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the product roadmap for APIs and data solutions, in collaboration with engineering, sales, and business teams in the US and Taiwan.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for API and data product initiatives, ensuring stakeholder requirements are well-documented and prioritized.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design, test, and deploy APIs and data products that meet accuracy, performance, scalability, and security standards.
- Lead efforts to create and maintain API documentation and developer guides, ensuring clarity and usability for internal and external stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for API and data product improvements.
- Work closely with internal teams to support API integrations and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Develop metrics to track API usage, performance, and adoption, providing actionable insights for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards, as well as alignment with industry best practices.
- Foster strong relationships with partners, clients, and third-party developers to promote API adoption and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Product Manager with a focus on APIs, data platforms, or related technologies.
- Strong understanding of API design, architecture, and documentation standards (e.g., REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI).
- Experience working with data engineering and familiarity with concepts like ETL pipelines, data lakes, and analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value and vice versa.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive actionable outcomes.
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger), project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini).
- Fluency in English for effective communication and flexibility to coordinate across US time zones.
- Proven ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
